Getting down to the endo of my @johnccampbellfolkschool retrospective (to clarify, this class with Betty Maney took place at the end of February). Rim stock shaped and fit to the basket. Initially I was very happy with the heavy outer rim I was able to get out of my white oak stock. Typically I love a chunky rim on my baskets, but Cherokee baskets tend to have lighter rims.
